Lookbooks are collective series of photos that are produced for the readers to become inspired and learn about the new trends in the world of fashion, as well as the artistic visual of each look. Each look tells us a unique story and mood; from the styled outfits, background, motions etc.

EVERYTHING IS SPRINGING UP!

Prints are a must for the spring and summer season!  It gives life and interest to our look after a very dull "black on black on black" style during the winter season. The "flower power" domination of the previous season's print game now fades away to this season's prints that showcase geometric shapes and symetric lines. This new trend is a breath of fresh air! Just make sure to pair the printed garment with a plain one, as it will balance the contrast of the whole outfit.

STATEMENT FOR DAYS

Do you have any piece of garment that will totally slay your OOTD game but too shy to unleash it as it may look over the top? Well, one major tip to shed that fear is to TONE DOWN EVERYTHING. Let your statement piece stand out and flaunt it while keeping the rest of the look simple, in form, silloute and colour. This Kimono Jacket with intricate embroidery from the H&M “Trend Collection” stands out from the rest of the pieces that have been assembled to produce a minimalistic background effect.

THE GREATEST ESCAPE: BOHEMIAN CHIC EDITION

We can all admit that the Bohemian Chic style is AGAIN dominating the 2016's spring and summer fashion trends. In order to achieve this look, adding certain colours such as scarlet red, navy blue, cream, and ofcourse the classic bohemian prints will definately transcript the whole essence of Boho Chic.  The term bohemian  refers to the people who live unconventional, usually artistic lives. Floral prints, and flounce silhoutte are the usual style that our generation uses to replicate bohemian style. For this season, we are tweaking the look by reinforcing loose silhouttes while changing the prints. Utilizing a garment with a colorful print but in an abstract form will add a modern twist to the look. This H&M's 2016 Spring and Summer Studio Collection sweater is a perfect example as it gives the modern twist that we try to attain while still keeping the boho aura of the look!
